Aurum club

Aurum club was inaugurated in the year 2016 when the department was started. The purpose of the club is to organize programs to develop awareness and concern for scientific principles in personal, social, environmental and technological contexts. The club encourages students to enthusiastically participate in the activities organized by the club.

DIGITAL PRESENTATION ON RAIN WATER HARVESTING (27/02/2025)

On February 27, 2025, the Department of Chemistry organized a Digital Model Presentation on Rainwater Harvesting in celebration of National Science Day.  

The event was chaired by Dr. R. Kavitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, C.T.T.E College for Women.  

The presentation showcased innovative digital models illustrating the principles, techniques, and benefits of rainwater harvesting. Participants explored various sustainable water conservation methods, emphasizing their importance in addressing water scarcity and environmental sustainability.  

The session provided valuable insights into the scientific and practical applications of rainwater harvesting, fostering awareness and encouraging innovative solutions for water management and conservation.
