Remembering Dr. Elizabeth Thomas – A Legacy of Empowerment
On this day, we fondly remember our beloved founder, Dr. Elizabeth Thomas, whose vision gave birth to Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women. Since its inauguration on 27th June 1985, her dream has empowered generations of women to rise with confidence and knowledge.
Though she left us on 5th September 2006, her spirit continues to guide the institution, inspiring us to uphold her values of education, empowerment, and service.
As CTTE celebrates 40 years of legacy, we honor her memory with gratitude and pride, carrying her vision into the future with renewed strength.
As a tribute from the Chemistry Department, our students enacted the lives of inspiring women leaders like Mother Teresa, Malala, and Sunita Williams—a gesture of respect, honor, and commitment to the cause of women empowerment.
Her life reminds us: empowered to empower, her vision lives on forever.
