Aurum club

Aurum club was inaugurated in the year 2016 when the department was started. The purpose of the club is to organize programs to develop awareness and concern for scientific principles in personal, social, environmental and technological contexts. The club encourages students to enthusiastically participate in the activities organized by the club.

INVITED LECTURE (20/03/2025)

On March 20, 2025, the Department of Chemistry organized an Invited Lecture on Computational Tools in Chemistry. The session was conducted by Dr. S. David Amal Raj, Assistant Professor, PG & Research Department of Chemistry, St. Joseph's College of Arts & Science, Cuddalore.

The lecture provided insights into the role of computational tools in modern chemistry, covering molecular modeling, simulations, and data analysis techniques. Students and faculty members engaged in interactive discussions, enhancing their understanding of how computational methods are transforming chemical research and applications.
