Aurum club

Aurum club was inaugurated in the year 2016 when the department was started. The purpose of the club is to organize programs to develop awareness and concern for scientific principles in personal, social, environmental and technological contexts. The club encourages students to enthusiastically participate in the activities organized by the club.

Have Women Embraced and Maximized the Opportunities Offered to Them?

On March 14, 2025, the Department of Chemistry organized a debate competition in celebration of International Women’s Day. The event featured an engaging discussion on the topic, "Have Women Embraced and Maximized the Opportunities Offered to Them?" 

Students actively participated, presenting compelling arguments on women’s empowerment, career advancements, societal barriers, and evolving opportunities. The debate encouraged critical thinking and constructive discussions, providing a platform for diverse perspectives on gender equality and progress.
