Aurum club

Aurum club was inaugurated in the year 2016 when the department was started. The purpose of the club is to organize programs to develop awareness and concern for scientific principles in personal, social, environmental and technological contexts. The club encourages students to enthusiastically participate in the activities organized by the club.

 Department of Chemistry, Cevalier T.Thomas Elizabeth College for Women organised on Lecture on Miscommunication, Disinformation & Fake News on 19/09/2024. The Resource person for this lecture was Dr. Preetha, Assistant Professor, Departmant of Language. It was an informative class explaining today's Communication, Gossips, Rumors, etc...She detailed us on how to find correct information, how to not fall for fake news, how to connect with others etc....
