Third year students of Department of Chemistry in association with Consumers Club visited the campus neighborhood on 24/05/2022 and collected some food ingredients like turmeric, coffee,tea,milk .etc.,from their houses and test it for adulteration. This testing really created awareness among them and Adulteration should be checked properly in common food items so as to save people from its bad effects.
Water is one of the most precious natural resource. The surface of the earth mostly consists of water, although only a part of it is usable. This precious and limited resource, therefore, must be used with care. As it is required for different purposes, the suitability of it must be checked before use. Water analysis was done by the II year students of Department of Chemistry in association with the NSS on 31st May 2022 and 1st June 2022. Nearly 25 water samples were collected from the campus neighborhood and analysed the content of Chlorine, Fluoride, pH, Hardness and Alkalinity, etc.,in it.
