Aurum club was inaugurated in the year 2016 when the department was started. The purpose of the club is to organize programs to develop awareness and concern for scientific principles in personal, social, environmental and technological contexts. The club encourages students to enthusiastically participate in the activities organized by the club.

A tamil poem was written by a student of III B.Sc. Chemistry remembering the 'Missile Man of India' who made us believe in dreams.
