Aurum club

Aurum club was inaugurated in the year 2016 when the department was started. The purpose of the club is to organize programs to develop awareness and concern for scientific principles in personal, social, environmental and technological contexts. The club encourages students to enthusiastically participate in the activities organized by the club.

WORLD CLEANUP DAY(20/09/2025)

 World Cleanup Day 2025 – Chemistry in Action! 

The Department of Chemistry, CTTE College (Aurum Club), proudly celebrated World Cleanup Day 2025 with impactful student-led initiatives today, September 20, 2025. 

Our students:

 Presented a mini-poster session on green chemistry principles-waste minimization, safer solvents, and recycling.

Conducted a cleanup drive – ensuring board, benches, system tables, lab working tables, and classroom benches were thoroughly cleaned, thereby promoting safe and sustainable practices.

 Took part in a discussion on the global theme – Textile and Fashion Waste, addressing the urgent challenge of fast fashion, textile waste, and the importance of circular fashion systems.
