Mother Teresa: A Catalyst for Humanity
On the occasion of Mother Teresa’s birth anniversary, the Department of Chemistry organized a special program titled “Mother Teresa- A Catalyst for Humanity.”
Our students, Swathi K (II B.Sc Chemistry) and Dharanya (I B.Sc Chemistry), delivered an insightful speech that beautifully connected Mother Teresa’s values of compassion and service with key concepts in chemistry.
From likening her role as a catalyst for kindness to drawing parallels with bonds of love, chain reactions of compassion, purity of heart, and crystallization of service, the session reminded us that chemistry is not confined to the lab, it also reflects the reactions of life.
A heartfelt thanks to our students for inspiring us to see both science and humanity through a meaningful lens.
