Aurum club

Aurum club was inaugurated in the year 2016 when the department was started. The purpose of the club is to organize programs to develop awareness and concern for scientific principles in personal, social, environmental and technological contexts. The club encourages students to enthusiastically participate in the activities organized by the club.

STUDENT ACHIEVER - MADRAS UNIVERSITY FIRST RANK HOLDER

Ms. R. Vedavalli of B.Sc Chemistry 
2018-2021 batch has secured 
University First Rank with 95.91%. 

Miss. R. Vedavalli received her degree from Honourable Governor of Tamilnadu, R.N. Ravi, in the presence of our Honourable Chief Minister Thiru. M.K. Stalin and Higher Education Minister K . Ponmudy on Monday, 16th May 2022, at the 164th Annual Convocation, University of Madras.

Ms. Vedavalli recieved 
The Principal (Miss) E. Mathew Gold Medal, 
Shri K.R. Sundararajan Memorial Medal, 
The R. Akkama Gari Medal
The R. Pattabhirami Reddy Medal II,
The C.K. Sundaram Ayyar Prize 
for her exemplary performances.
