Aurum club was inaugurated in the year 2016 when the department was started. The purpose of the club is to organize programs to develop awareness and concern for scientific principles in personal, social, environmental and technological contexts. ENCYCLOPEDIA OF FOREST
The Barefoot Environmentalist, Tulsi Gowda is a Halakki Tribal Woman from Karnataka known for possessing endless knowledge of plants and herbs. She has planted more than 30,000 saplings and has been involved in environmental conservation activities for the past six decades. She was honored with Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award of India, on 8 November 2021.

DIWALI CELEBRATION - 01/11/2021
A debate on 'Are Firecrackers Essential?' was conducted by the Department of Chemistry on the account of National Festival Diwali. Students of Chemistry Department were split into two teams and they had a logical pursuit of dispute. Students thought critically and shared their views on celebrating Diwali with crackers and without crackers.
